Tampa's Jeff Whipple has been creating his brand of idiosyncratic art for the past three decades. This past weekend, Whipple unveiled his new Centro Ybor cultural attraction, the Jeff Whipple Art Museum and Spasm Gallery, which chronicles Whipple's 30-year career via nearly 200 paintings and drawings. The Spasm Gallery within the museum will feature new exhibits each month beginning in April. A dedication and VIP party is held tonight from 6 to 9 p.m. ($15). 11 a.m.-6 p.m. Sat.-Sun., Seventh Avenue at 16th Street, Ybor City, $5 admission.
