I'm all happy about the acoustic rockers bringing a baby into the world but still can't help but be pissed that I received the news after my write-up went to print. Yeah, I'm a prick like that. Anyway, here's the skinny, courtesy of WMNF:
WMNF’s concert with The Avett Brothers, scheduled for this Thursday, 10/23/08, is postponed. Scott Avett and his wife will be enjoying the birth of their first child this week at home in North Carolina.
The concert will be rescheduled but probably not until early 2009. Those who bought tickets can hold on to their tickets until the remake date or get a refund where you bought them. If you reserved tickets with WMNF, your account has already been billed. You can request a refund or hold on to your reservation for when the show is rescheduled. Call Julie at 813-238-8001
