We're slightly more rested than at this time 24 hours ago, as we now deal with the ramifications of the 2010 vote.
Of immediate concern for many local lawmakers and a whole of other folks is the state of transportation in the Tampa Bay area, in the aftermath of the Hillsborough County transit tax electoral wipe out on Tuesday night.
Three new members will be welcomed this morning on to the Hillsborough County Commission – Victor Crist, Les Miller and Sandy Murman. And there will be a going away moment this afternoon for the departed: Rose Ferlita, Kevin White and Jim Norman. Except county officials say Norman won't be there.
President Obama held a news conference yesterday afternoon (something he doesn't do enough of, in our humble opinion), in which he took responsibility for the Democrats getting their booty whipped on Tuesday (Though the hilarious Gail Collins of the NY Times wrote today immediately after he said that, some commentators said "he didn't take responsibility.")
