Hours of quality time were lost at Tampa City Council meetings this summer to debate about the proper spelling of 7th Avenue in Ybor City. Passionate arguments went back and forth amongst Tampa residents obsessed about the proper spelling of the entertainment district’s main avenue. Meanwhile, outside those meetings, nobody cared.
