This tiny gem of a show, held at the Tampa Museum of Arts interim home base in West Tampa, where it awaits the construction of a new building downtown, argued eloquently that drawing and its trademarks evidence of the artists hand, emotional and intellectual intimacy, casual sketchiness have pervaded a variety of media. Highlights included Janae Eastons whimsical sculpture of artificial flowers and delicately folded drawings, Valerie Hirds animated videos of superhero renderings, and a bevy of works by locally based artists Dominique Labauvie, Elisabeth Condon, Marie Yoho Dorsey drawn from Tampa printmaking atelier Bleu Acier.
