Indigo

Indigo coffeehouses are so cool looking, we go just to refresh our tired eyes after they´ve been assaulted by Tampa´s urban ugliness. The deep-sea blue trim and imaginative shapes of these tiny oases provide an antidote to the usual boring corporate boxes. The coffee and scones are just pleasant perks. They don´t have an indoor counter. They don´t have haggard-looking waitresses pouring hours-old tar. They don´t sell their own collection of CDs. (Note to Starbucks: stop with the ¨Artist´s Choice¨ CDs already. We don´t give a crap who Sarah McLachlan likes.) But they´ve got double drive-thrus, all the better for viewing the bitchin´ buildings (and satisfying both our caffeine jones and our lazy bones). Life is good. And it looks even better.
