Successful improv isn’t easy, but Nicholas Riggs has met the challenge head on and made it his bitch. The leader of the Post Dinner Conversation Inc. improvisational troupe has formed several offshoots for different skill levels, including the Training Grounds Flashform Improv Conservatory and TourCo, a smaller, select group of PDC Inc. members who represent the company at shows and events outside of regular house team shows. Performances include duel formats and longform, and Riggs runs a stand-up comedy night at CDB’s on Wednesdays. If that weren’t a plate piled high enough, he’s organizing a Tampa Improv Festival spread out across three days Nov. 5-8, with sponsorship from Sak Comedy Lab out of Orlando.
