A half hour from St. Pete, maybe 40 minutes from Tampa, this outlet emporium has upgraded in the last year or so, adding an adidas store, as well as Converse, Kenneth Cole, J. Crew, Michael Kors and others. It’s still not in the Zegna/Boss/Armani category of its cousin in Orlando, but — who knows — maybe in time … Not everyone understands the joys of outlet shopping, but if you’re into whiling away a few hours digging through the racks, you can walk out of Ellenton with sick bargains on some very high-quality clothing, shoes, jewelry and other merch. 5461 Factory Shops Blvd., Ellenton, 941-723-1150
