Opened by 24-year-old Shannon Kelly, Shannon’s Web is countryside road stand meets funky, folky thrift store. Kelly launched her Grand Central District business with a focus on eco-friendly candles and home goods in December last year — four months after coming up with the idea. With more than a dozen Bay area vendors and various indie-biz-made products from other states, Kelly’s sweet-smellin’ shop features everything from soy candles with scents like Thai Pear and Bourbon Maple Sugar to upcycled furniture to hand-crafted fly-fishing ties and jewelry. Shannon carries “mandles” (man-scented candles), grooming kits and other fella-centric items, too. Custom baskets and complimentary gift wrapping are offered by Kelly and Co. at the shop’s gift bar, while Bodhi Basics, an organic body care company founded by Kim Vorperian, is nestled near the back of the Web. 2454 Central Ave., St. Petersburg, 727-800-5964, shannons-web.com
