Clearly, the ’Burg’s charms outweigh its drawbacks, but more still needs to be done about the rash of moochers who blanket the downtown. There are few things more annoying than being on a date on a gorgeous night, eating al fresco, when some kid with bloodshot eyes approaches and asks if you have a dollar he can “borrow.” This could be prevented if cops actually patrolled the block that surrounds Jannus Landing. Isn’t that supposed to be one of the perks of having a Republican mayor?
