With great fanfare, party leaders introduced Allie Braswell, head of the Central Florida Urban League, to be their candidate to challenge Jeff Atwater for CFO next year. Four days later Braswell was history, after it was revealed he’d undergone no fewer than three personal bankruptcies. Democrats then denied they ever knew him.
