Late last year, the St. Pete-bred septet issued a superb self-titled third LP that was impeccably produced by Easy Star Records’ Michael Goldwasser — who’s worked with the likes of Steel Pulse and Toots & the Maytals — and ramped up the ’70s funkadelic flavor and exotic West African textures in their mix of dub, jazz, roots reggae and rock.
