Governor Charlie Crist is a St. Pete resident and avowed sports fan, so it certainly seemed appropriate that he'd be asked to throw out the first ball at one of the Tampa Bay Rays playoff games this week.

Being in a heated Senate contest, the Governor certainly didn't mind the face time that such an opportunity presented.
