One of Charlie Crist's best attributes, I would argue, is that he doesn't seem to be ideological, which is why he could be called a classic centrist.  Of course, there is a down side to seemingly not believing in certain core values, and with that comes serious charges of being inauthentic.  And when it comes to how he stopped being a fierce champion of the environment, that's problematic.

There will probably be more, but yesterday Hillsborough County Commissioner Rose Ferlita became the latest entrant in the sweepstakes to elect a new mayor of Tampa next year.

And as Eric Deggans wrote yesterday, at CNN, you can get a talk show hosting gig after pleading guilty for seeing a prostitute for years, yet write a tweet that is considered offensive to some after working at an institution for two decades, and it's apparently time for you to go.
