Halloween's over, so… Happy Holidays! Deck the malls! Actually, the Xmas marketing season now seems to start before even the first trick-or-treaters show up, and we at CL have been doing our part the last few weeks by spreading the word about this year's Holiday Auction, which begins Nov. 17. But we've got a good excuse: We're trying to amass the coolest possible collection of items for the auction so that we can break our fundraising record for The Children's Home.
Today, Nov. 4, is officially the cut-off date for submitting your auction items at cltampa.com/holidayauction. But if you still need some time to devise an irresistible offer, don't worry. You can continue to submit items through Mon. Nov. 14; while submission after today might mean you'll miss the deadline for having your item listed in our print edition on the 17th, your item can still be included in the list we'll publish online — which is where all the bidding action will take place from Nov. 17-Dec. 14.
