If you were unfortunate enough to miss The Black Crowes when they opened for Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers last summer, don't miss out on the band's Friday concert at Ford Amphitheatre. Formed by brothers Rich and Chris Robinson (the hippie-looking dude who stole Kate Hudson's heart), the Crowes burst onto the blues-rock scene with 1990's Shake Your Money Maker, luring fans with the heavy-hearted power ballad "She Talks to Angels" and a stomping, rocking rendition of Otis Redding's "Hard to Handle," and keeping them with dynamic live performances. Nothing sets the tone for a night of debauchery with friends more than the band's adrenaline-pumping "Go Faster," "Kickin' My Heart Around" and "Blackberry," and if these songs don't manage to get your feet moving and your heart racing, you might need to check for a pulse. With Robert Randolph & The Family Band and Drive-By Truckers, Fri., July 7, 6:30 p.m., 4802 U.S. 301 N., Tampa, $37.50-$49.50, 813-740-2446.
