Earlier today Herman Cain called the accusations of sexual harassment against him “a witch hunt” and said he had been falsely accused while the head of the National Restaurant Association in the 1990s. Speaking at the National Press Club in Washington, the GOP presidential, leading the race in several national polls, also said he was unaware of any financial settlements paid to his accusers.

Answer questions posed after Politico reported last night about the allegations, Cain said of a settlement that "I hope it wasn’t for much, because I didn’t do anything.”
