A blog devoted exclusively to all things Corvette- Corvette Mafia– is reporting on one of Rick Scott's company that makes parts for Corvette's. Their not sure if he really does.
After excerpting a story that CL reported on a speech that Scott gave to the Hillsborough County Republican Party last month, in which we wrote:
In his stump speech, Scott takes considerable time discussing his biography, such as the fact that he owns companies that makes parts for harvester combines and lighting systems for jet cockpits, and Corvette bodies. “If you’re going to have an accident, have it at the back, we make the truck piece, we need to sell more of those,” he said, as much of the audience laughed but wasn’t certain if he was joking or not.
It was hardly the first reference to Scott owing a company that builds Corvette bodies. The Orlando Sentinel last month also made mention of Scott referring to that company.
