Tampa Bay Water (TBW) could be slapped with some hefty fines for over-pumping ground water recently. They cited a drought and a cracked reservoir for breaking the rules on pumping limits. Anybody else think our elected officials have allowed too much growth without a thought in the world of how to quench the thirst of all these people? OK, they did think of dumping shit in the aquifer and in the river to increase our water supply, but other than that what have officials done to link water to growth? Nada.
