Carrollwood Cultural Center welcomes Shreyas — An Expression of Dance for an afternoon program, "Dances of India." The cultural dance troupe's performance spotlights a range of Indian dance, from regional folk and modern Bollywood styles to Bharatha Natyam, an ancient, poetic dance that was created as a visual translation of written scriptures and conveys a story via dramatic facial expressions and movements choreographed down to each finger. 3 p.m., 4537 Lowell Road, Tampa, $15 general/$10 CCC members (free admission for students), 813-269-1310.
