Democratic Florida State Sen. Brian Nathan can really settle into his office on the corner of Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. and Highland Avenue, after winning re-election in the race for Florida’s District 14 State Senate Seat.

With all precincts reporting, Nathan has more than 52% of the the vote, according to unofficial results from the Hillsborough Supervisor of Elections.

In the special election just 224 days ago, Nathan, a Navy veteran and union member, defeated Tomkow by just over 400 votes, despite being out fundraised 10-1. At the time Gov. Ron DeSantis caught heat over not helping Tomkow in the race to replace Jay Collins who resigned to become DeSantis’ Lieutenant Governor.

This is a developing post.
