That same poll reveals that a huge majority of the state's voters wanted a chance to vote on offshore drilling this November, but can Democrats seize on that?
Regular readers of this post know that we've been reporting extensively on the Democratic race for Attorney General. But as is the case on the Republican side, we really wish somebody would conduct a major poll to know if any of the five major candidates are breaking out at all, 3 1/2 weeks before the August 24 primary.
Tampa City Councilwoman Mary Mulhern has been relentless of late in trying to get the powers that be to consider backing her proposal to have the high speed rail authorities search out federal dollars to study putting a high speed rail station to Tampa International Airport. That cause was dealt a blow yesterday, however.
