Gov. Ron DeSantis has signed a measure that could help clear the way for bringing President Donald Trumpโ€™s presidential library to Florida.

The bill (SB 118), which passed during this springโ€™s legislative session, would prevent local governments from placing restrictions on presidential libraries and would give the state authority to regulate establishing and operating such facilities.

Trump is a Palm Beach County resident. DeSantisโ€™ office announced Monday night that he had signed the bill and 13 others from the legislative session.
