You know at the beginning of the week I posted a status update on my Facebook page that said "This is going to be the week!" Now I'm thinking I should find a career as a psychic because holy cow was I right! This has been a whirlwind of a week and I am still reeling from it. This morning I appeared on Studio 10 along with Brian Bailey from ILovetheBurg.com (who is by the way, the entire reason I'm blogging in CL now!) to talk about his Facebook page Downtown St. Pete, being "Jobless in the Burg" and the blog. It really is amazing how blessings can flow into our lives.
To think, just over a month ago I was laid off from my job, was completely devastated and feeling quite worthless, but through some creative healing and a WHOLE lot of trust in karma, I am thriving once more. When I originally started this blog, I did so because, a) I was bored, b) I needed to feel useful, and c) I could not watch ANYMORE TLC, Bravo or FoodNetwork!
I have come out of this experience a whole new stronger, better, and more confident Michelle. I love writing these blogs and I really hope you guys love to read them; it seems like now I can't stop thinking about things to write about. I'm not getting any sleep because I am lying in bed all night thinking about what I could be writing, it's ludicrous. I never in a million years expected any of this to happen, but it is crazy fantastic!
