(UPDATED) Thanks to St. Petersblog's Peter Schorsch for forwarding over this information from Chris Cate, spokesman for the Florida Secretary of State's office regarding why Nina Hayden is not listed as having qualified to be on this August's ballot running for the Democratic nomination for Congress in District 13.
Ms. Hayden’s paperwork was not complete as required by s. s. 99.061(7), FS. The notary failed to sign her Candidate Oath form.
And with that, it appears that Hayden is out of the race against fellow Democrat Jessica Ehrlich for Congress, making Ehrlich the nominee right now.
