is a new collection by the internationally famous photog, whose works are on display at the MoMA, the Met, the Whitney and more — so Tampa’s in some pretty good company. This partcular exhibit explores the “passage between body and spirit, between life and death … the moment suspended between an intake of breath and the flatness of a depleted body; between the silence of a child gazing up at a light bulb and the sight of a small boy playing dead.” Also on display is Suzanne Camp Crosby: Kid City by the locally-revered artist and former Tampa Photographer Laureate, who “uses a child’s point of view when she stages scenes familiar to very young imaginations.” (Pictured: “Bus Stop,” part of the Kid City exhibit by Suzanne Camp Crosby) Both exhibits on display through Jan. 9, Florida Museum of Photographic Arts, Tampa, fmopa.org.
