I am not one for long-term commitment. I cringe anytime a boyfriend comments on how cute our future children will be. But, every so often I find myself in a long-term situation. Recently I realized I was counting the duration of a relationship in terms of months instead of days. After the initial shock wore off that I was indeed, in a long-term relationship, I started to wonder how I had gotten into this predicament.
