“…..last night I had a dream about (a friend), J and our Honeymoon! E and I were about to take the plane to come back to Spain (I'm already sad about said flight… I know) and the guys at the JFK airport told us the ash cloud had every single European airport closed and we had to stay in the US for at least a couple of weeks. We went back to the hotel and they said that it was all booked and so was every single hotel in NYC because so many people had to stay longer than planned. Luckily I remembered (in my dreams I'm always the problem solver of the family) that my friends lived in NYC (of course) so we decided to pay a completely selfless visit… and ask for shelter. When we got to their place they said we could camp in the backyard and J let us borrow a tent BUT made us sign a contract to avoid future issues in case we damaged it in any way. Then it was 6:45, the alarm went off and I woke up…” (sic)
