The days preceding Christmas are winding down and if you’re still looking for that certain special something for a hard-to-shop-for loved one, the Planet suggests an outing to the Dunedin Fine Art Center. The center hosts two exhibitions: the 19th Annual Holiday Show and Sale, a display of gifts and decorations from around the world, many of which come from Fair Trade organizations; and UnWrapped: A National Invitational of Contemporary Fine Art and Craft, featuring a huge range of media by artists like Duncan McClellan, Denis Gaston, Josette Urso and Lynn Whipple. Basically, you’ll find anything from a handcrafted stained-glass coffee table to functional, magnificently designed wood-fired gourds. Plus, the DFAC gift shop is packed with unique goodies, so there’s a good chance you won’t leave empty-handed. On display through Dec. 23; hours are 10 a.m.-8 p.m. Thurs., and 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Fri., 1143 Michigan Blvd., Dunedin, free admission, 727-298-3322, www.dfac.org.
