8:30 a.m., Palma Ceia Baptist Church. Early on at this polling place, voting was relatively slow. The elections clerk, Joseph Szymanski, reported that attendance was consistent and expected more turnout than during the primary because the weather is so much better. Crowds usually increase at lunch and after kids are picked up from school, according to many poll workers.
9:00, Tampa Garden Center. Mayor Iorio arrived to vote, and chatted with campaign workers afterwards.
