A jury convicted former Rutgers University student Dharun Ravi of hate crimes for using a webcam to spy on his roommate, Tyler Clementi, kissing another man in their dorm room. In addition to being found guilty of invasion of privacy and bias intimidation, he was also found guilty of tampering with witnesses and evidence.
