“I was surrounded by a bunch of people I used to work with at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.  The dream felt pretty benign; more thoughtful than interactive.  I considered each person & what my relationship with them had been like.  There were at least one or two significant people missing.  I didn’t really talk with them at all in the dream.  I was more accepting of them, viewed them objectively, than when we worked together.  It was in muted color, if that matters.  I think I felt some surprise at how peaceful the gathering was, considering the environment we all moved in when we were known to one another.  Some of these folks really disliked me & visa versa, but in this dream there was no animosity.  Actually, it was very clinical – there was no feeling one way or another among the 'subjects.'  I felt comfortable, but other than that, I don’t recall any other emotions.”

Here is the most important part of your ho-hum dream: muted colors. “There were at least one or two significant people missing.” Dream Momma suggests that those significant dream people represent your true feelings; the feelings you are, for some insane reason, blocking off.
