I think the best analogy to describe Green Depot is that it's like the WalMart of a green goods retailer (well, minus the food and auto departments). This eco-friendly mega mart is the nation's largest green building supply chain, stocking everything from home goods and decor to janitorial supplies and building materials. Recyclable content, locally sourced, low/no-toxicity, and energy efficiency are all determining factors in the products they carry.
Besides having the 10 stores in which they sell their wares, they also have a website where you can get just about everything that you'd find in one of their stores. As to not create excess carbon emissions by shipping online orders from one of their stores, they have 12 distribution centers around the states (including 4 in Florida).
