Tampa Theatre’s annual Summer Classic Movie Series continues with Some Like It Hot. Billy Wilder’s 1959 comedy stars Jack Lemmon and Tony Curtis as two struggling musicians who witness a mob hit and decide it’s in their best interest to leave town. But the only available out-of-state job is with an all-girl band headed to Florida. So the duo dons lipstick, wigs and grandma dresses, joins the band, boards the train to Florida and befriends a sexy vocalist and ukulele player (played by Marilyn Monroe).
