Beach Theatre has launched yet another new film series, Indie Mondays, which, as you may have surmised by the title, focuses on independent films. This week's feature is The Rape of Europe. Based on the book by Lynn Nicholas, the documentary traces Nazi Germany's ruthless and systematic theft and destruction of European art, the recovery and return efforts, and the art historians and families of collectors who are still attempting to locate and (in some cases) restore lost masterpieces; Joan Allen narrates.
