The Republican National Committee just released the line-up of speakers — as well as the theme — for its fourth and final night of the convention. It appears the highlight of the night focuses on what Mitt Romney has shown little interest in doing throughout this campaign — talk about his record in Massachusetts where he served as governor from 2002-2006.
The schedule features one current Florida U.S. Senator and one who hopes to join him in the fall — Marco Rubio and Connie Mack IV. They stand out between three other speakers who most of the country has never heard of, but who were put on the schedule to highlight Romney's "success" in the Bay State.
However, don't expect to hear much about Romney's signature achievement as governor — that being the health care reform bill that President Obama's advisers say was the blueprint for what is now not so affectionately known as ObamaCare.
In fact, Thursday night looks like it will be less Obama bashing and more hagiography.
