Five Things to Do This Weekend

1. A collection of works by such luminaries as Robert Rauschenberg, James Rosenquist, William Wegman, Robert Mapplethorpe, Chuck Close, among many others, are auctioned off at the Graphicstudio Benefit Sale. Pictured below: "Coleman Pond II, 2007," an original, limited edition Japanese woodblock print by Alex Katz that will be given away during an 8 p.m. prize drawing at the benefit sale. 2. The newly remodeled Palladium Theater re-opens with a concert, the Statesmen of Jazz. Sat., Oct. 11, 8 p.m., $22-$32.

3. CLIP 19 draws to a close. Through Oct. 12, Tampa Theatre and Muvico Baywalk St. Petersburg, $9 per film general/$7 students.

4. Univerisity of Tampa hosts the Earth Charter Sustainable Business Awards and Community Summit. Oct. 10-11, Falk Theatre and the Vaughn Center, $50 luncheon/free admission to summit.

5. The latest installment of the Creative Loafing Concert Series takes place this Friday night. Rachel Goodrich headlines with support sets provided by Auto! Automatic!!, The Basiqs and Dynasty. 8 p.m., State Theatre, $8 general/$5 with voter ID.
