This Sunday marks World Environment Day — a day to where the United Nations, "stimulates worldwide awareness of the environment and encourages political attention and action." It also marks the anniversary of the United Nations Conference on the Human Environment that began on June 5, 1972.
In honor of World Environment Day, the Friends of L. Ron Hubbard will be doing their part to beautify the environment by hosting a clean-up event in historic Ybor City. The event is a collaboration with Ybor City’s Development Corporation (YCDC), a division of the City of Tampa's Economic & Urban Development.
