The creative perspective of three youngish Pinellas-based artists is showcased in Fresh Fish: A New Generation of Pinellas County Artists. Gulf Coast Museum of Art exhibition director Christine Renc-Carter has organized the show and displays her own mixed-media graphics, monoprints and oils alongside the pop surrealist paintings of Roby MacDougall and the cartoon-inspired ceramic sculptures of Simon Boses. While their styles may vary, the trio seems to share a playful artistic sensibility reflected in the works that are featured in this show. The works are on display through Oct. 7, 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Tues.-Sun., Painted Fish Gallery, 350 Main St., Dunedin, 727-734-5060, paintedfishgallery.com.
