In partnership with Florida Craftsmen, Family Service Centers — a nonprofit organization that offers help to at-risk and needy children and their families — hosts its third annual artHEALS exhibition and gala-style fundraiser this Saturday evening at the posh Rutland Estate. artHEALS is part of the organization's larger effort to utilize art as a healing medium, with many of the featured pieces created as the result of collaborations between professional Tampa Bay area artists and survivors of sexual violence. Guests are encouraged to sport their best "island chic" dress, and come out and enjoy hors d'oeuvres and refreshments while taking part in live and silent auctions of original artworks by Donna Gordon, Betsi Burgess, Lynn Carol Henderson, Rebecca Skelton, Duncan McClellan and several other local artists.
