Comic Vickie Shaw – who came out as a lesbian right around the time she started doing stand-up – is the special guest performer at the USF LGBT Alumni Scholarship Fundraiser, which supports of scholarships for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender students at USF. Guests enjoy a reception with drinks and hors d’oeuvres followed by a short film presentation by Clip Film Festival, Shaw's performance, and a post-show Q&A session. Fri., Dec. 5, 6-10 p.m., Marshall Center Ballroom at USF, 4202 E. Fowler Ave., Tampa, $50 alumni and friends/$20 students with I.D.
