Gala Corina's sixth exhibition, ser Libre, runs Nov. 5-20 in the old Badcock Furniture showroom at 1219 N. Franklin St. in downtown Tampa. It includes the following events, which are free and open to the public, with a suggested donation of $2 on opening night:

Friday, Nov. 5, 4-11 p.m.: Opening Party

Refreshments, bands, DJs, spoken word and other performances. Just follow the shoes painted safety orange north on Franklin Street to the corner of Fortune Street. Street party with DJ Tommy Moye follows 11 p.m.-2 a.m.

Saturday, Nov. 6, 7:30-10:30 p.m.: Nightlife/Skylines/Cityscapes Film Festival

Films by local and international filmmakers, including Diana Leavengood's Three Point Turn, a short film about two young girls in rural Florida; Candy Coated Dreams, a 28-minute featurette directed by Kenny Strawn; and Conspirators of Pleasure, a 1996 film by Czech animator Jan Svenmajer, that details the bizarre solo sexual activities of six people. Music will be provided by DJ Mega. All of the screenings will be outdoors, projected onto the side of an abandoned building, so bring your own chairs, blankets. And refreshments. Free. Music with DJ Mega follows at 10:30 p.m.

Friday, Nov. 12, 8-10:30 p.m.: enVision-ing Democratic Space: Tampa awards ceremony

Saturday, Nov. 20, 7-11 p.m.: Closing Night Party

Open Gallery Space: Nov. 6, 1-10:30 p.m.; Nov. 7, 1-6 p.m.; Nov. 8-12 and 15-19, noon-1 p.m. and 5:30-7:30 p.m.; Nov. 13-14, 1-6 p.m.
