Here's the latest update from Honda Grand Prix of St. Petersburg:

Plans are under way for a 10 a.m. start for the 2010 Honda Grand Prix of St. Petersburg this morning.  Gates will open to race fans at 9 a.m. and entry is free. Race organizers have also opened all grandstand seats to race fans in attendance today.  However, if a fan has a Grandstand ticket from Sunday, they will be guaranteed that seat for today’s race.  Fans without grandstand tickets can move to any open grandstand seat.

Pre-race ceremonies will begin at 9:30 .am. and Gen. David Petreaus will give the traditional driver’s command to start the race. Green flag is scheduled for v10:07 a.m. and the race will be carried Live in ESPN2, beginning at 10 a.m.
