For those of us who’re grateful we didn’t die before we got old, The Who’s 50th anniversary tour kick-off in April right here in downtown Tampa was a welcome event. Powerhouse lead singer Roger Daltrey and windmilling guitarist and mastermind Pete Townshend looked and sounded better than in recent memory, whipping out a jaw-dropping setlist of hits and obscurities to a jam-packed Amalie Arena and proving they still have plenty of rock n’ roll in their souls on this opening night of the band’s historic worldwide trek.
