Although his lawyer would like for the community to believe this, the fact that Kevin White no longer holds office in Hillsborough County does not mean that his actions are no longer newsworthy, not when the county is still trying to collect on the hundreds of thousands of dollars they paid for his own legal expenses during his trial on sexual harassment charges which he was found guilty of in 2009.

White made news in March when it was learned that he purchased a second home in Riverview last December, despite his claims that he couldn't afford to pay those legal expenses.

Now he's back in the news because of recent communications with county attorney Renee Lee, who is now receiving scorn from her colleagues on the Board of County Commissioners, according to 10 Connects reporter Mike Deeson.
