If you are a surfer in Pinellas County, you may already know their names: Corey and Shea Lopez. Guess what? They are taking a stand against offshore drilling. The guys grew up here, their family owns Nekton Surf Shop on Indian Rocks Beach, and their sister has spoken before our state legislature.
Florida does not need oil drilling.
The family travels the world and they know beauty and good surf. Shea gets to the point: The Gulf Coast "is not Disney World, our biggest assets are our beaches and water." The guys continue on to talk about the bad use of disbursements and the peoples health in the video interview below.
