Yes, dogs chasing Frisbees are just as entertaining and definitely more adorable than your typical ball-chasing, overpaid muscleheads. The difference is that the human athletes aren't eager to mingle and rub noses with their fans, and I can guarantee you can't get away with petting one — not without getting punched in the face, anyway. Novice and veteran competitors, mixed-breed and purebred canines — no one's excluded in this battle for the title of Regional Champion. Top finishing teams in Freestyle, Pairs, MicroDog and Distance/Accuracy receive invitations to compete at the World Championships in Atlanta in September.
