When going through the routine of spring cleaning this season, you're very likely to come across some items that you don't want to end up in a landfill, definitely won't reuse, but also wouldn't necessarily give away to charity. (I don't think the Salvation Army accepts worn out bras or used dentures.) But fear not, help is here.
Matt Hickman from Mother Nature Network has come up with a list of "unusual" items that you might normally have a hard time recycling or giving away (unless you turn it into an arts and crafts project) — prosthetic limbs, old greeting cards, used crayons, pet fur, sex toys, etc. — and has done research to find the best and most eco-conscious ways to get them off your hands.
