SATURDAY, JULY 7:
Some alleged asshole allegedly crashed his car into a barrier along the Courtney Campbell Causeway on purpose — causing a five-car pileup that injured two people and killed a pet dog — because he was distraught over a breakup. Gee, I wonder what it was about him that made his partner think a relationship was untenable.
SUNDAY, JULY 8:
A family vacationing in Sarasota found a racist note in their hotel room. This is unsettling on too many levels to even attempt to deal with through humor. On behalf of the entire non-racist contingent of the Tampa Bay region, I'm very sorry, vacationing family.
