Crossroads GPS, an affiliate of the conservative, Karl Rove-connected American Crossroads group, announced on Wednesday a new $25 million issue advocacy initiative over the next four weeks in ten states, including Florida. That organization's "first phase" of the ad "Broken Promises", begins airing on Thursday with a $1.5 million buy in the Sunshine State.
The new buy is another example of the advantage that Mitt Romney and Congressional Republicans have so far over Democrats this election season. President Obama and the Democrats have gotten into the Super PAC game late, and so while Obama continues to out fund-raise Mitt Romney, third party groups like Rove's are killing it in places like Florida. And just remember conservative millionaires like Foster Freese and Sheldon Adelson have promised to spend what it takes to knock Obama out as well.
